Jeannette Rowlett is a native of Laurel County, KY, and a retired teacher and school administrator. Jeannette’s career as a jewelry maker began when she made a necklace as a gift for one of her co-workers.
Jeannette has made jewelry from different mediums but has been inspired by the wire wrapping method, which does not require solder. She is able to manipulate the wire by hand, using only simple tools.
Jeannette’s Jewelry is made of sterling silver and 14k gold-filled wire. Each piece is hand crafted and made into a beautiful work of art that can be worn with confidence and pride. She believes that everyone should have a piece of jewelry that speaks to them in a way that they want to keep putting it on and wearing it again and again.
Jeannette is a member of the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen and co-chair of the Sheltowee Artisans Guild. She demonstrates regularly at her studio located within “I Love My Stuff” shop in Old Town Berea.
Jeannette’s work can also be found at Jeanette’s Jewelry Old Town Artist Village (inside the I Love My Stuff Gallery), Berea, KY.
