Becky DeBord learned her craft at the William Holland School of Lapidary Arts in northern Georgia. After attending William Holland, one of Becky’s goals was to teach classes, so she now shares her skills and knowledge with future wire jewelry artists at William Holland and also teaches private classes at her studio.
Becky makes her wire wrapped jewelry using traditional techniques and a variety of tools, including pliers and wire cutters. Her jewelry is hand crafted from sterling silver, 14K gold fill, and a variety of semi-precious stones and beads.
Becky is a member of the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen and the Sheltowee Artisans Guild of Somerset, KY. She participates in juried shows spends part of the month of October at the Harvest Festival of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
Becky’s work can be found at festivals and at the Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea.
