Joe Molinaro earned a Bachelors Degree from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, and a Masters Degree in Fine Arts from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois. He has been an associate professor at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky since 1989. In addition he serves as Director of the Ecuador Summer Study Program, sponsored by the Kentucky Institute for International Studies (KIIS).
Joe’s work is found in numerous museum and corporate collections, including Trans-Financial Bank Corporation, KY; San Angelo Museum of Art, TX; The Capital, Tallahassee, FL; National Gallery of Art, Kingston, Jamaica; and James Wallace Arts Trust, Aukland, New Zealand.
Joe’s professional affiliations include memberships in the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA), American Crafts Council (ACC), College Art Association (CAA), and Kentucky-Ecuador Partnership.
