Changing exhibits of artisan works and displays representing cultural heritage
attractions are regularly featured at the Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea.
CURRENT GALLERY EXHIBIT
AN ARTFUL ARRAY: BOWLS BY KENTUCKY ARTISANS will be on display through February 25, 2012. This exhibition showcases a wide range of works created by 41 Kentucky artisans working in clay, wood, glass, fiber and stone. Bowls included are both functional and non-functional.
CURRENT LOBBY EXHIBIT
THE MAKINGS OF A MASTER: KENTUCKY FOLK ART APPRENTICESHIPS will be on display through February 26, 2012. This exhibition was developed by the Kentucky Folklife Program, an interagency program of the Kentucky Arts Council and the Kentucky Historical Society. It documents 20 years of apprenticeships with Kentucky master artisans made possiby by the Folklife Program.
