Exhibits

Changing exhibits of artisan works and displays representing cultural heritage attractions are regularly featured at the Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea.

Kentucky woodcarvers from across the state are invited to apply to have up to three wood carvings included in the juried exhibit “Creatures & Characters: Works by Kentucky Woodcarvers,” which will be on display June 7 – September 21, 2008 at the Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea. This exhibit will showcase woodcarvings that depict animals, other creatures, and/or human characters. The exhibit will give viewers an understanding of the breadth of woodcarving skill and talent throughout the state. To enter and artisan must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of Kentucky. Entries are due at the Center May 10, 2008.
