Making a basket doesn’t just refer to shooting the basketball through a rim in Kentucky. It is also an art form.
Demonstrating their unique style of basketry, David and Donna Glenn will take discarded pieces of wood veneer and weave them into an array of beautiful baskets on April 30, from 10:30 to 3:30 at the Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea.
The Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea currently features works by more than 700 artisans from more than 100 counties across the Commonwealth. The Center is located at 200 Artisan Way, just off Interstate 75 at Berea Exit 77. The center’s exhibits, shopping and travel and information areas are open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the cafe is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
