Products

fabric purses & bags

Amanda Clark launched her Cattywumpus Bags, in 2008. The term “cattywumpus,” meaning “slightly askew; quirky, eccentric,” describes Amanda’s take on design. She loves creating purses in surprising shapes and using funky fabrics. Typically buying fabric in one yard increments, she keeps the number of purses made from each fabric low, and adds a unique embellishment to each.

Amanda strives to be environmentally conscious. She saves her fabric scraps and rescues fabric samples headed for the landfill, mixing and matching them to make her line of patchwork purses.

Amanda is a juried participant in the Kentucky Crafted Program.
