Erin Taydus says that the craftsmanship that goes into making soaps and other body care products is a blend of several arts. Like a chef, her art requires her to have a solid working knowledge of the chemistry of the ingredients a well as an understanding of how these will resonate with the people using them.
Her business began with a quest to capture the health enhancing benefits of the sassafras tree. This led to an interest in handcrafted soaps made in time-honored traditions from simple ingredients. She developed products for her family and friends, and soon found herself producing an array of products.
Every facet of Erin’s product development supports her philosophy that our health is inextricably linked with the world around us. Erin chooses to work with raw materials from suppliers who utilize sustainable, renewable and non-GMO farming practices.
