Carl Schmitt traveled for business for many years, and at some point he began to see his work-related travel as a way to see and experience new things and make friends around the globe. He also discovered an unknown passion for photography and the development of film.
While on the highways and byways, Carl is always looking through the “lens” of a camera, whether or not one is actually in his hand. His mental eye is always searching for that elusive perfect photograph. Nature remains his first love, but details of architecture also fascinate him.
Carl’s work can be found at Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea, Berea,, KY.
