Catherine Logsdon has always been involved in the creative arts. She received her BA degree in Interior Design from the University of Kentucky and worked as a designer before teaching art.
Working out of her Covington studio, Catherine creates her work and teaches private and group lessons to children. Her illustrative techniques convey images in watercolor, pastel, and acrylic. She states, “My studies in Art and Architectural History, a love and appreciation of nature and the changing seasons, and my intrigue with the art of collage and woven fibers have all influenced my work as a painter. Every brushstroke, depending on its placement and its color, forms an image that tells a story. . . Painting provides me with a perfect storyboard to convey my most inward thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a visual language.”
