Linda Stephenson has been involved with crafts all her life. She began making aprons and doll clothes as a child and was sewing wedding dresses for the public by the time she was 18. When her husband became disabled in the 1980s, she began designing and making jewelry and hair accessories to support her family.
Linda enjoys working with natural brass, sterling silver, semi precious and Swarovski crystals, and other unique beads. She especially enjoys making bridal jewelry and revamping old pearls into modern creations.
Linda currently operates a shop in Old Town Berea where she sells these works and other jewelry she makes.
Linda Stephenson’s work can be found at her shop Jazzy Jewelry by Linda, Old Town Berea, KY; June Bugs, Harrodsburg, KY; Kid’s Alley, Danville, KY, and the Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea, Berea, KY.
