As a child, Barbara Marsh developed an interest in knitting from her grandmother and from a fifth grade teacher, who taught a small group of students basic knitting stitches after they had completed their “seat work.”
In 2007 she began taking knitting classes at the Yarn & More shop, a knitting shop in Ashland, KY. There she learned more intricate patterns for scarves and other projects, and discovered the joys of working with new and unique yarns.
Barbara now spends every Friday afternoon at the knitting shop, knitting and socializing with others who share her passion for knitting.
Barbara Marsh’s work can be found at the Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea, Berea, KY.
