Patrick Dougherty received his Masters degree from Clemson University and his BFA from Northern Kentucky University.
His selected awards include an Early Times Scholarship from the Kentucky Art Foundation, Best of Show, Mt. Adams Art Festival, Cincinnati, OH, and Fine Craft Award, Atlanta Dogwood Festival, Atlanta, GA. Patrick’s work can be found in collections including Commonwealth Insurance, Louisville, KY, Georgia State University, Atlanta, GA, and Taft College, Taft CA.
Patrick’s works are widely exhibited and include “Teapots: Object to Subject” at Craft Alliance, St. Louis, MO, “Dinner is Served” at Grovewood Gallery, Ashville, NC, and “National Juried Cup Show” at Kent State University in Kent, OH.
Patrick is a juried member of the Piedmont Craft Guild and the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen. He has been published in American Craft, Ceramics Monthly, and numerous other professional publications.
Patrick’s work can be found on display at the Kentucky Artisan Center in Berea, KY and at the Kentucky Museum of Art & Craft in Louisville, KY.
