John Beasley says of his beginnings, “As a mischievous five-year-old, I would get into trouble for repeatedly drawing on my bedroom walls. I was also always drawing on other walls, doors, and furniture, and once even on a ceiling.”
John has, since those early years, spent a lifetime designing and sculpting for a variety of companies. In 2002 he started his own company, Medicine Bluff Studio, to make sculpted ceramic tile by hand. Working with his partner he creates “intricately detailed gallery-quality tile.”
John comments, “I have always believed that art is a great communicator and I want my art to uplift your spirit, make you think, or make you smile.” He adds, “If I really score, my art will make you do all three.”
