Dan Selter earned a BFA degree from Louisville School of Art and an MFA degree from Syracuse University. He is currently Professor of Art at Transylvania University in Lexington, where he teaches courses in ceramics, art, and interdisciplinary special topics. Dan has been presented the Bingham Award for Excellence in Teaching.
Dan’s work has been exhibited widely including the corporate offices of the Brown-Forman Corporation and Kentucky Fried Chicken in Louisville and Farmer’s National Bank in Lebanon.
Dan’s work can be found at the Ann Tower Gallery in Lexington, KY and at the Kentucky Artisan Center in Berea, KY.
