Evans Orchard and Cider Mill is a family owned and operated business located in central Kentucky outside of Georgetown, and about 5 miles from the Kentucky Horse Park. Begun as an alternative to tobacco farming, the orchard was planted in 1994 and the tobacco barn was converted into a sales area, cooling facility and cider press operation.
Sustainable agriculture is a priority and their operation encompasses 12 acres of apples, peaches and pears and another 30 acres of vegetables. The farm now is a certified kitchen producing fudge, apple pies and serving lunch as well.
Evans Orchard and Cider Mill is a KY PROUD member and welcomes visitors to the farm from May through December. They hold special events such as their July Sweet Corn Festival; September Apple Festival, and their Fall Harvest Festival.
Products made by Evans Orchard & Cider Mill can be found at their farm store and at the Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea, Berea, KY.
