Linnemann-Clark, Mavis — Made by Mavis
Mavis Linnemann-Clark was raised with her triplet brother and sisters in Ryland, KY, on good old-fashioned southern cooking. She studied magazine journalism, women's studies and film at Syracuse University and after college fell in love with cooking. She traveled as much as she could and took cooking classes in places like Umbria, Italy.
In 2008 she moved to Chicago and in 2010 enrolled in culinary school at Kendall College where she was classically trained in culinary arts. In 2011 she graduated with a certificate in Catering and Personal Chef.
Soon after she returned to Norther Kentucky and established "The Delish Dish, a boutique catering company, and Made By Mavis to bring her favorite gourmet flavors to the region. Mavis explains that her products are lovingly made the old-fashioned way in a French copper jam pot from the finest ingredients and organic spices. Made by Mavis is known for its unique flavor combinations.
